1788 (27 Sept.), entire (no right side flap) with fine double ring "free/c" on the front and datestamp on reverse, 1794 (15 July), entire letter with fine indented frame "7 O'Clock/15 JY 94/even" on the reverse, faint red Soho and (Crown)/Paid on the front, 1796 entire to Cambridgeshire with light but clear red "tooting/-2-", 1798 (5 April), entire letter to Middlesex with "cade" receiver of the front and "7 oClock Night/Penny Post Paid" datestamp on the reverse (with touching contents in the form of a letter of sympathy, following the death of a son); fine. A scarce quartet of eighteenth century letters
