1883 (2 Jan.) envelope from Singapore to USA, marked "via Brindisi", bearing 1880-81 10c. on 30c. claret (with perfin initials; straight-edge at left) tied by double-ring "singapore/p.o." with clear "singapore/paid" c.d.s. in red alongside, showing red crayon "4" with, on reverse London transit (30.1) and arrival (12.2) datestamps; the envelope with small piece missing at lower left and with some minor discolouration in places affecting the adhesive.
