1858 (14 July) entire, with disinfection slits, ex the "Matia" correspondence to Cadiz care of Mr. Power at Gibraltar, marked "p overland mail", bearing 1856 1a. brown, 2a. orange pair (affixed over edge at lower left) and single, and 1855 8a. carmine on blue glazed paper (corner defect), all clearly cancelled "B/172", showing red crayon "1/10", blue Gibraltar transit c.d.s. (12.9) and, on reverse across join, red "singapore/p.o." double-ring datestamp; the entire a little soiled. A rare and attractive three colour franking illustrating the 15a. per ½oz. rate. Photo
