1863-98, six soldier's envelopes including c.1863 Umballa Expedition envelope to Scotland bearing 1860 8p., 1872 envelope franked the same to Norfolk, 1877 from Agra to Winchester bearing 1874 9p., 1885 envelope from Mcradabad to Dundee bearing 1882-90 1a. brown-purple, 1890 envelope from Cannanore to Bristol bearing 1882-90 9p., and 1898 envelope from Calcutta to Peterborough bearing 1882-90 1a. plum, marked "too late". Mixed condition though an interesting group.
