1863 (Sept.) entire from Calcutta to Genoa "Via Egypt and Trieste" bearing 1856-64 8a. pale carmine cancelled by indistinct octagonal handstamp, entire marked "Candia" with boxed "f.c asella & co./calcutta" and "india/paid" handstamps in green and red respectively, the reverse with Calcutta, Bologna, Pontelagoscuro and Genoa d.s. Scarce.
