One Anna

Die I, Stone B
A horizontal strip of four [61-64] with close to large margins, each stamp with clear touch-ups and retouches to the eye and chignon, cancelled by crisply struck "B/147" octagonal cancellations of Penang; tiny tone spot on right hand stamp, one or two bends mostly between impressions, otherwise very fine and a very rare multiple used in Penang. Photo.

Notes: Position 64 is described by Dawson as "The most interesting stamp in the sheet" of the 'B' stone and this is the only known multiple [64] cancelled in Penang.
