1826 (7 Sept.) entire written from 45th Regt at Rangoon addressed to England, showing various rate marks and, on reverse "madras ship letter" (21.10) c.d.s., framed "india letter/deal" and arrival datestamp. The usual minor creasing and staining not detracting the overall appearance. A scarce early letter.
