Ship type including vignette-only imperforate pairs (3) a strip of four, blocks of four, eight, nine and corner block of twenty; perforated vignette only singles, pairs and a block of four; further imperforate blocks; followed by a range of perforated and imperforate frame-only blocks and pairs on various papers and with a range of ink types from the trials, notably including Dix 45 block of twenty-four on ungummed paper, Dix 46 block of twenty-four on ungummed paper, etc. also a range of the complete stamp design including Dix 44 pair and corner block of six, Dix 69 with pairs (4) and a block of sixteen, Dix 64 with pairs (3) and a block of twelve, Dix 57 with a corner block of twenty-four, Dix 34 on official watermarked and gummed paper including pairs, a block of four and a block of twenty four, Dix 50 on gummed esparto paper, Dix 52 on gummed esparto paper including a corner block of twenty-four, etc. a fascinating and detailed grouping of these trials; good to very fine: also a maroon file of notes and articles on the trials.
