Kanye Bisect: 1904 (6 Dec.) envelope, with Henry Solomon imprint on flap, from Kanye to London, bearing 3d. lilac and black bisected vertically used in combination with Protectorate 1902 1d. lilac making up the correct 2½d. rate, both cancelled by a neat despatch c.d.s. showing day and month inverted and with manuscript signature of D. Solomon, Postmaster, below; there are no other postal markings and part of the address crossed through in ink. A very rare franking of which only three other covers recorded, one being in the Royal collection. Photo
