1885 (11 July) envelope "from Trooper Norbury 1 M.R." to his mother in Malvern bearing Cape 1d. tied by "barkly/g.w" c.d.s. with a second strike alongside, countersigned by "Off Com D Troop"; only the flap remains on the back, this bears Cape Town (15.7) and Malvern (4.8) c.d.s. Methuen's Horse were stationed at Setlagoli at that time. Photo

Note: It it thought that this letter was from Frederick Norbury (17) to his mother, Gertrude, who was the daughter of Viscount Guillamore
