An example of the 1st Class set of Insignia can be seen at the Churchill War Rooms, London. The last of the foreign orders Churchill received was conferred by King Idris I of Libya on 14 April 1962. The award was made during a visit to Libya as part of Churchill’s seventh and final Mediterranean cruise on Aristotle Onassis’ yacht.
