Order addressed to Rear Admiral Knight for H.M.S. Spencer and H.M.S. Neptune to put to sea and join Vice Admiral Duckworth on his rendezvous, signed by Cuthbert Collingwood on board H.M.S. Queen at sea, dated 1 December 1806, ageing and some small pinholes along reverse folds, text clear and legible; together with three portrait prints of Collingwood, one with foxing (4)


“Sir,
I enclose orders for the Spencer, and Neptune to put to sea immediately, and join Vice Admiral Sir John Duckworth on his rendezvous, which I request you will be pleased to deliver as soon as possible. If the Neptune wants water, it must be put into [?] instantly, and whatever impediment stands in her way must be removed.
