(x) Imperial Bank of Persia, specimen 100 Tomans, ND (1890-1923), serial number range J 05601 - J/A 00100,
printed by the English engraving and banknote company, Bradbury, Wilkinson and Co. This specimen is a notable example of the 100 Toman note, presenting a vibrant combination of pink, orange, purple, blue, and light green tones, contrary to the pink and green tones of the issued notes. This banknote features the Persian coat of arms, including the Kiani crown, sun, lion, and sword. Naser al-Din Shah Qajar is also present, depicted in military uniform and a feathered fez indicating his role in the military and evoking thoughts of Persian heritage and royalty. Naser al-Din Shah Qajar was one of the longest-reigning monarchs in Persian history spanning nearly 51 years, and the fourth king of the Qajar dynasty. His reign was marked by a significant period of modernisation in Persia. The reverse of the banknote once again displays the Persian coat of arms with Kiani crown, sun, lion and sword, whilst also identifying the 100 Toman denomination of this banknote. The reverse of this specimen banknote has been printed in a bold deep blue shade,
