Georgian Silver (3) | George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Sixpence, 1757, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shields, obliquely milled edge, 2.99g, 5h (ESC 1622; Bull 1762; S.3711), a very slight softness to the higher points, but otherwise nicely toned, very fine; also George III (1760-1820), Shilling, 1787, stop above head, second laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. cruciform shields, seven strings to harp, no hearts, crowns in angles, edge obliquely milled, 5.99g, 12h (ESC 1216; Bull 2125; S.3743), reflective surfaces, especially to the reverse, beautifully toned with colourful hues, extremely fine; and Twopence, 1800 (S.3758), handsomely toned, extremely fine (3)
