Van Heesch, "Les ateliers monétaires de Pescennius Niger," RBN CXXIV (1978), pg. 62 and 11a; BMCRE 312A; RSC 66), slightly grainy texture to surfaces, reverse worn, but exhibiting a lovely portrait for type, good very fine
