Roman Republic, L. Cassius Longinus, AR Denarius, struck 60 BC, veiled and draped bust of Vesta left, S below chin, kylix behind, rev. LONGIN III V, voter, standing left, dropping tablet inscribed V into cista, 3.82g (Crawford 413/1; Sydenham 935; RBW 1493), some light marks with softness to reverse, struck from lightly rusted dies and holding a small test cut to edge, but a nice portrait and about very fine
