Seleukid Kingdom of Syria, Antiochos VIII Epiphanes (Grypos), sole reign (121-96 BC), Antioch-on-the-Orontes, struck c. 121-113, diadmed head right, rev. BASILEOS ANTIOXOY EPIPHANOUS, Zeus Ouranios standing left, draped, holding eight-pointed star in outstretched hand and resting on sceptre, E above A to outer left field, P to inner right field, K in exergue, all within laurel border, (SC 2298.4e; SMA 372; HGC 9, 1197e), verdigris and flan split to obverse, good fine to very fine
