Seleukid Kingdom of Syria, Seleukos IV Philopator (187-175 BC), AR Tetradrachm, Ake-Ptolemais, struck c. 180-175, diademed head right within beaded border, rev. BASILEOS SELEUKOY, Apollo Delphios seated left on omphalos, slight drapery on right thigh, testing arrow and resting left hand on grounded bow, palm branch to outer left field, monograms to inner left field and in exergue, all within beaded border, 16.75g (SC 1331a var., field monogram; SNG Spaer 928 (same obv. die); Le Rider, Séleucos 80-105 (D1/R-; unrecorded rev. die); Brett 1), toned, some marks, but an impressive portrait and apparently unique reverse from this die, good very fine
