Seleukid Kingdom of Syria, Antiochos I Soter (281-261 BC), AR Tetradrachm, struck in the name of Seleukos I Nikator and in the types of Alexander III, 'the Great', local imitation of Susa mint, head of the young Herakles right, clad in lion skin, rev. SELEUKOY Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left, B in circle to left field, monogram in cricle below throne, BASILEOS in exergue, 16.74g, 7h (cf. SC 399.4), crack to right of reverse, nevertheless a good very fine example of an unpublished variety
