Kingdom of Macedon, Antiogonos I Monophthalmos, as Strategos of Asia (320-305 BC), or King (306-301 BC) AR Drachm, struck in the name and types of Alexander III, 'the Great', Lampsakos, head of the young Herakles right, clad in lion skin, rev. ALEXANDR[OY], Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left, holding long vertical sceptre, legs crossed, AL below throne, pegasus flying left to left field, 4.29g (Price 1389; ADM II Series XVIII, 481 (same obverse die)) toned and lustrous, an unfortunate nick to the edge, but otherwise lovely and about extremely fine
