Roman Empire, Faustina the Younger, struck under Marcus Aurelius (AD 161-180), AR Denarii (5): i) Rome, FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, draped bust right, wearing stephane, rev. IVNONI REGINAE, Juno seated left, holding patera and sceptre, peacock at her feet, 3.03g (RIC 698; BMC 122), corrosion to reverse, yet fine; ii) another, as before, 3.00g, lovely example, lustrous and very fine or better; iii) another, as before, draped bust right, rev. MATRI MAGNAE, Cybele seated left, holding branch and resting elbow on drum, lion seated left before, 2.98g (RIC 706; BMC 134), good fine, reverse very fine; iv) another, as before, rev. SAECVLI FELICIT, pulvinar, upon which are seated young Commodus and Antoninus, 2.87g (RIC 712; BMC 139), good fine or better; v) another, as before, rev. VESTA, Vesta seated left, holding sceptre and palladium, 3.49g (RIC 737; BMC 175), near fine; (5).
