COS V P P SPQR OPTIMO PRINC, Pietas standing left before altar, holding patera and sceptre, PIET in exergue, 2.86g (RIC 104; BMC 403), lustrous, good; ii) IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P, as before, rev. COS V P P SPQR OPTIMO PRINC, Roma standing left, wearing military attire, holding Victory and spear, 2.74g (RIC 115 var.; BMC 271), near fine; iii) IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P, as before, rev. COS V P P SPQR OPTIMO PRINC, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopiae, 3.10g (RIC 118 var.; BMC 281), residually lustrous, about fine; iv) another, as before 2.92g, points of corrosion and verdigris, good to fine; v) another, as before, 3.24g, rather unsightly corrosion to portrait, fair; (5).
