(g) NGC AU53 | USA, 'Liberty Head' Eagle of Ten Dollars, 1853 $10 'No Motto', Philadelphia, by Christian Gobrecht, edge milled, 16.70g*, 6h (PCGS 8610; NGC ID#2638; KM 102; Fb. 155), light rub and bagmarks in otherwise yellow-gold fields, very fine, with an original mintage of 201,253, but many lost in the great recall of 1933, in NGC holder, graded AU53 (Cert. #6768878-004)

PCGS CoinFacts presently posit only some 25 examples survive in 'MS60 or better', with broadly 550 or so examples believed extant
