GLORIOUS REIGN OF FIFTY YEARS COMPLETED, Victoria enthroned, facing, flanked by Industry and Neptune, behind, shields of Britain and Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Britannia displays scroll inscribed 1837-87, 30 JUNE 1887 in exergue, 64mm, 156.85g (Eimer 1734; BHM 3290), a scattering of small bagmarks and surface marking, an unfortunate belt of verdigris to reverse but otherwise a pleasing example of a rare issue with lovely classical imagery, good very fine
