William and Mary (1689-1694), Sixpence, 1693, conjoined and draped busts right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, WM in angles, four strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 3.01g (ESC 1529; Bull 869; Spink 3438), rub to the hair, very fine; William III (1694-1702), Great Recoinage, Sixpence, 1696, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, three strings to early harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 2.90g (ESC 1533; Bull 1202; Spink 3520), struck on a broad flan and softly struck to parts of the reverse legend, with a pleasing glossy cabinet lustre and tone, extremely fine; Bristol, Sixpence, 1697, third laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, four strings to late harp, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 2.83g (ESC 1568; Bull 1266; Spink 3539), struck partially off-centre and with a die flaw behind the bust, light flecking otherwise most handsomely struck, toned and with a mint lustre, good extremely fine (3)
