Dassier, for Dassier's Kings and Queen's of England, EDOUARD • I • D • G • ANG • ET • HIB • REX •, crowned, armoured and draped three-quarters bust left, rev. decorated monument, NAT • 1230 • COR 1272 • MORT • 1307, in exergue in two lines, plain edge, 41mm, 36.51g (MI i 5/2; Eimer 10 & 526), some minor wear to the surfaces in the exergue and around the legends, additionally the very highest points, otherwise mostly pleasingly intact and a handsomely detailed strike to the portrait, extremely fine, scarcely encountered and highly sought after in commerce
