The Pritchard Collection of 18th Century Provincial Tokens and Commemorative Medals
The centenary of the Glorious Revolution was marked in 1788 with great celebration across the country. The Gentleman's Magazine gives descriptions of several Jubilee celebrations, and particularly those at Whittington and Chesterfield, noting that 'The people were impressed with the strongest sense of the inestimable blessings which the Kingdoms enjoyed in consequence of the glorious Revolution on 1688'.
