CORNWALL, County Cornish Copper, Halfpenny, 1791, plain edge, 6h, 13.07g (D&H 2), brilliant fields to darkly toned surfaces, extremely fine; another, as before, 6h, 12.54g (D&H 2), brilliant to light brown surfaces, extremely fine; Falmouth, Volunteers Halfpenny, 1797, obliquely milled edge, 6h, 9.91g (D&H 3), very fine; Penryn, Volunteers Halfpenny, April 3rd 1794, plain edge, 6h, 10.63g (D&H 4), with a brilliance to light brown surfaces, much as struck; another, as before, 6h, 10.88g (D&H 4), lightly contact marked, extremely fine, the latter two with a most pleasing an intricate design, more akin to medallic issues (5)
