1876-88 a group of covers with 1875 (10 Sept.) envelope to Melun, France bearing 1d. carmine-red (6) and 4d. blue (2) tied by number "2" obliterator with Port Elizabeth despatch alongside with "PD" in circle, Cape Town (13.9) and London Paid (1.10) transit c.d.s. (small fault top right corner. 1876 (17 Nov.) envelope to London "pr 'Walmer Castle'" bearing 6d. violet tied by numeral "2" obliterator with Port Elizabeth despatch and Cape Town despatch alongside and London Paid arrival (16.12). 1888 (25 June) envelope to Tunbridge Wells bearing 1d. rose-red (3) and 2d. pale bistre tied by hooded Beaconsfield c.d.s. and an unusual British Red Cross label, the reverse with Cape Town (27.6) and Tunbridge Wells (18.7.) c.d.s.; some creasing or wrinkling.
