Matabeleland Postmarks
A collection of Matebeleland postmarks comprising Figtree including "0", "03", "4", "7", "8" and "9" for year, without year but with "6" at top, sideways "8" at top (on pair) and no code; Gwelo with 1897 c.d.s. on 1896-97 1d., 6d. and 8d. in a left margin block of four (age marks); 1902-03 strikes on 1898-1908 ½d. pair, 1d., 2d. and 2½d., Selukwe postmarks with 1892-97 values to 4d., plus 2d. with day omitted and 6d. with year omitted and month day inverted; most appear to have the incorrect year as "93"; Tati group which includes month day no year, "6" for year (2) and "7" for year (2); day month with "6" for year and "7" for year (day inverted), slightly mixed condition though a number of neat strikes.
