(x) Royal Fleet Reserve L.S. & G.C., G.VI.R. (KX76563 PO. D. 191 D. B. Perry. Sto.1. R.F.R.), small official correction to 'F.R.', otherwise very fine

Douglas Belmont Perry was born at Canterbury, Kent on 3 February 1900 and enlisted on 27 February 1918 as K.49761, seeing service on Victory between 27 February and 16 June 1918. He was posted to Glasgow on 17 June 1918 and served with her until 26 August 1919 when he was demobilized.

Perry re-entered service on 7 July 1926 as Stoker II KX.76563 and joined the Royal Fleet Reserve on 7 July 1938, finally being released Class 'A' on 12 September 1945. He is further entitled to a British War and Victory Medal pair and probably a Second World War medal entitlement; sold together with copied service papers.
