Victory Medal 1914-19 (10/3839 Pte. W. Booth. N.Z.E.F.), contact marks, very fine

William Booth was a store assistant employed by the Farmers Co-Op at Hawera, New Zealand when he enlisted in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, 2nd Battalion, Wellington Regiment on 15 November 1915. He was later killed in action on 15 June 1916 and buried at the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery in Armentieres, France.
