Robert Weir Marshall was born on 16 September 1895 at Lanark, Lanarkshire. He joined the Royal Navy on 12 October 1916 and served on Vivid I until 29 August 1917. Marshall then served on Woolwich from 30 August to 20 December 1917 before serving on David I from 8 May 1918 until 4 March 1919. He is only entitled to the British War Medal.

George Edward Jennett was born at St. Nicholas, Cork, Ireland on 29 September 1886. He originally served as 226344 in the Royal Navy, enlisting on 29 September 1904 before leaving the service by purchase on 21 November 1908 and joining the Royal Fleet Reserve the following day. Re-joining full-time service on 29 December 1915 as A.M.I., Jennett served on Vindex until 14 April 1917 and was promoted Petty Officer at some stage during the posting. He completed his time with the Royal Navy on 31 May 1918 and joined the Royal Air Force. He is entitled to a 1914-15 Star trio.

Frank Dunnicliffe was born in Derby and enlisted on 18 November 1915 and served with the 10th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders. He did not see overseas service and was discharged at Perth on 3 September 1916 as a result of sickness. The Silver War Badge comprises his full entitlement.
