1 Company of the Royal Tank Corps were awarded the clasp for the North West Frontier 1930-31.

Frank Malcom Thompson was born at Barnsbury, London in 1909 and attested with the Royal Tank Corps on 18 July 1927 having worked as a motor driver. He was discharged at Barnet on 13 December 1933 with his conduct described as exemplary.
