Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Alma (Corpl. E. Dyson. Grenadier Gds.), contemporarily impressed naming, edge bruising, very fine
Eli Dyson served with the number 5803 and was stationed at London in 1851. He joined the Grenadier Guards at the Battle of the Alma but soon afterwards was listed as 'Died 28 Sept. at Sea', whether this was due to illness or wounds in not recorded; sold together with a copied medal roll extract.
