A fine scarce die-stamped white metal example with two loops to reverse, crowned star bearing laurel wreath and thistle star with strap inscribed “Cape Town Highlanders”; Thistle to voided centre.

Raised as a kilted corps on Friday 24 April 1885, under the command of Major John Scott.
