Army L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (6671 Pte. F.H. Horton. 7/Hrs.), good very fine

Frederick Henry Horton was a 27 year old musician from Kingston on Thames when he re-enlisted in the 7th Hussars on 25 June 1903. He had originally enlisted in the 3rd Dragoon Guards at 14 years old on 13 May 1890, stating on his enlistment papers that he had previously served in the East Surrey Militia. He was discharged on 6 October 1911. Horton is entitled to a Boer War pair as 4914 Trumpeter, 7th Hussars; sold together with copied service papers.
