David Drummond was a native of Edinburgh and educated at Skerry's College he worked at Barton & Sons Plumbers or Forrest Road, Edinburgh before the war; sold together with copied research.

William Robert Drummond was born in 1879 at Greenock, Renfrewshire, he entered France and Flanders on 11 May 1915 serving in the 12th Battalion, Royal Scots; sold together with copied medal index card and a Royal Scots cap badge.
