An unusual campaign pair awarded to Captain of the Forecastle T. Palmer, Royal Navy who served with H.M.S. Pearl during the Indian Mutiny

Thomas Palmer served aboard Fox during the Second Anglo-Burmese War where she was heavily involved in Commodore Lambert's advance up the Irrawaddy River. Later joining Pearl his medal was sent to him there and Palmer went on to serve through the Indian Mutiny with her. His Mutiny medal was sent to Edgar after the conclusion of that conflict; sold together with copied medal rolls.
