Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque (Ernest White Francis), good very fine

Ernest White Francis was the son of John and Louisa Francis of 21, Vauxhall Street, Plymouth, Devon, where he later enlisted. He was killed in action on 25 September 1915, the First Day of the Battle of Loos, whilst serving with the 8th (Service) Battalion, Devonshire Regiment, and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. Francis is entitled to a 1914-15 Star trio.
