Henry John Turner was born at Caversham, Oxfordshire and enlisted in London, he served overseas in France from 3 May 1915. He was killed in action on 3 October 1918 whilst serving with the 4th Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps and is buried in Templeux-Le-Guerard British Cemetery.
