Henry Albert Jones joined the war with the 1/4th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment, at Gallipoli on 8 August 1915. He later transferred to the Royal Defence Corps with the number 45955 and was invalided due to sickness in March 1918.

Frank R. Jones entered the war with the 9th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment at Gallipoli on 4 July 1915. Joining the 1st Battalion, Machine Gun Corps as a Sergeant in 1916 he was eventually promoted Company Quartermaster Sergeant with the number 37620.
