India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp North West Frontier 1908 (139 Pte J. Hunt 1st R. War. R.), light contact marks, very fine

John Hunt served in India with the 1st Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, he remained with the regiment and with the outbreak of the Great War saw service overseas in France from 22 August 1914. He suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg on 13 October 1916 but appears to have recovered as he was not entitled to a Silver War Badge.
