1926 (17 Aug.) envelope flown on the final flight from Kuching to Singapore, addressed to England, franked at 6c. and tied by special "kuching/air mail" c.d.s. and showing arrival datestamp (20.8) on reverse. Rare, about 100 letters were carried, mostly business. Photo

Note: When the survey work ended in August 1926, the second pilot, Mr. Neville Vincent, decided to fly the plane back to Singapore. He left Sibu on August 17th and flew to Kuching, where he picked up a small amount of mail. He arrived in Singaporeblate on August 19th. No extra postage was charged.
