1869 native envelope from Bidar to Hyderabad, addressed to Nawab Mukthtar-ul-mulk Bahadur, bearing 1 a. olive-green (8, vertical strip of four, vertical pair and two singles) each cancelled by Bidar pre-philatelic oval seal handstamps in brown, prior to the delivery of the datestamp. Only a few pre-adhesive oval seal handstamp covers known and this is the highest recorded franking for this cancel. A very desirable exhibition item.
