This piece is known by collectors as The Gone with the Wind style, as the central artwork of Han Solo embracing Princess Leia is reminiscent to the US Gone with the Wind poster. This poster was distributed unfolded for use in drive-in cinemas and special displays. Many of these posters got folded over time. However, this one remains in its unfolded state.

This is the second film in the original Star Wars trilogy, which is now also known as Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. Although George Lucas did not direct this film, he wrote the story and served as executive producer.

Excellent condition, colours remaining very bright, minor restoration to a small surface mark in the bottom right-hand side. There is a line above the credits which looks like a fold, this is from the original artwork used to produce this poster.
