Conservation framed with UV plexiglass

This photograph was taken in Rome for Picture Post to use as their cover story on 13th August 1955. There is a window on the back of the frame showing a Philippe Halsman copyright stamp, address, pencil signature and the wording 'Sophia Loren 1955', together with a further stamp from Dumout Galleries.

Exceptionally rare vintage photograph. It is understood that only a handful of these were originally printed.

Excellent condition. There is a small crease in the bottom right-hand corner, and a miniscule crease in the bottom left-hand corner.
