(x) U.S.A.: Irving Cliff Hotel Company, $100 shares, 188[5], #1, black. Incorporated in 1884 to build a large hotel at Honesdale, Pennsylvania. The 4 storey castellated building was due to open 22nd June 1889 but was destroyed by fire on the evening of 28th May. It was never rebuilt and the area is now a public park. VF and rare No. 1 certificate.
