Great Britain: Singer & Company Ltd., pair of certificates for 2/6d ordinary shares, 190[8], #3824, and 7/6d preference shares, 190[5], #1349, same design with small vignette of Coventry in scrollwork, black and mauve respectively. Singer started making cycles in 1874 and then motor cycles and motor cars from 1901. Acquired by Rootes in the 1950's. The first signed by the founder George Singer. VF (2).
