Spain: Compañia de los Ferro-carriles de Asturias, Galicia y Leon, a group of 475 peseta bonds, 1882, 1883 and 1885, all re-issues dated 1911, 1914 and 1919 respectively, showing the guarantee of the Cia de los Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España, together with a 'bono de Liquidacion', Madrid 1890, black, #1678. Formed in Madrid in 1880 to acquire the concessions of Cia del Ferrocarril de Palencia a Ponferrada o del Noroeste de España. Acquired by Cia de los Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España in 1885 and company liquidated. The original bonds continued to circulate and were rfeissued as per the first 3 items with a garantee of the acquiring company. Generally VF (4).
